About John Varvatos
John Varvatos is an American menswear designer who launched his eponymous label in 2000 after senior creative roles at Polo Ralph Lauren and Calvin Klein. His fragrance line, produced in collaboration with Inter Parfums, mirrors the same vintage-rock-meets-tailoring sensibility as his clothing. Artisan, the brand's first major mainstream success, went on to spawn a family of flankers (Artisan Acqua, Artisan Blu, Artisan Pure, XX Artisan Teal) all built around the same crisp citrus-aromatic DNA.
