The story behind My Day

Preyssas's brief was to create a perfume around iris — historically one of the most expensive raw materials in perfumery — and treat it as the soft, buttery, slightly powdery core of an everyday composition. The carrot-seed top note adds a faintly green, root-like nuance that grounds the iris, while the white florals and citruses keep the heart bright. The pale-green flacon is topped with a purple cap that visually echoes the iris flower itself.
