About The Different Company
The Different Company is a French niche perfume house founded in 2000 by Jean-Claude Ellena (the legendary in-house perfumer at Hermès) and Thierry de Baschmakoff. The brand has been built around the philosophy of "perfume as poetry" — small-batch compositions with refillable bottles, focused on storytelling rather than mass appeal.
