Houttuynia cordata, commonly known as chameleon plant, is a low-growing, spreading perennial with heart-shaped leaves that are green with creamy-white and pink margins, forming dense, colourful mats. In summer, it produces small, inconspicuous greenish-yellow flowers that add subtle texture rather than showy blooms.
