Juliette Has A Gun was founded in Paris in 2006 by Romano Ricci, the great-grandson of couturier Nina Ricci. The story behind Miss Charming

Romano Ricci briefed Francis Kurkdjian to create a "rose fragrance for women who don't normally wear rose" — soft, sparkling and a long way from the powdered, soliflore rose of his great-grandmother's era. Kurkdjian built the composition around a juicy fruit salad of lychee, strawberry and wild berries, letting the Moroccan rose feel sweet and dewy rather than dense. The minimalist black flacon with its pistol motif sets the tone for the brand's narrative-driven house style.

Who it's for

Miss Charming suits women who like rose fragrances but find traditional rose perfumery too heavy or old-fashioned, as well as anyone drawn to fruity-floral compositions with a clean musky drydown. It works as a year-round daily signature, leaning a little more towards spring and summer, and is well suited to office, casual and date-night wear.
